The Explorer is the workspace sidebar for project structure. It is the fastest way to select a project, open a book, open a manuscript, and reach project-level tools.
- Project rows hold project settings, assets, voices, pronunciations, effect presets, and render actions.
- Book rows group manuscripts and book-level configuration.
- Manuscript rows open the manuscript editor.
- The gear action menu opens settings and tools without changing the selected project, book, or manuscript, so the current manuscript stays open in the editor.
- Manuscript rows also include saved snapshots. Use View to open one snapshot, or Compare to review what changed between two saved snapshots.
- Heading rows, when available, help you jump inside the selected manuscript.
- Callout count bubbles on heading rows jump to the first callout in that heading subtree and open its callout panel. Clicking the rest of the heading row still jumps to the heading itself.
On smaller screens the Explorer may collapse so the manuscript editor or another focused pane can use the available width.
