Start a new project

Create the project container that will hold books, manuscripts, assets, and settings.

Projects collect the manuscripts, books, assets, voices, pronunciations, and render settings for one publishing effort.

  1. Start from your workspace.
  2. Use the Explorer project action menu.
  3. Choose Create Welcome Project for a ready-to-inspect demo, or choose New blank project for production work.
  4. For a blank project, choose a heading preset. If you leave it alone, BadgerLeaf starts with Novel.
  5. After the project appears in the Explorer, open its settings before adding production assets.

The entry-level account allows 2 projects. Welcome, imported, and blank projects all consume that same account-wide capacity. Existing projects remain available if a later quota is lower, but creating or importing another project stays blocked until capacity is released or increased.
